On May 12, the Maryland Washington Minority Companies Association (MWMCA) hosted its 14th Annual Spring Breakfast Meeting and Business Showcase Expo. The event honored 14 mid-Atlantic area business leaders who advocate and contribute to the positive impact of minority-owned and women-owned enterprises. At the event, Sagamore Development Company, the master development team behind Port Covington, was named Most Inclusive Master Developer of the Year. Following the awards ceremony, 75 businesses participated in the Business Showcase Expo.
