New Bike Paths Taking Shape in Port Covington!

Come bike on over! As part of our commitment to create multiple ways to move in and around Port Covington, the second phase of the bike path was finished earlier this month. The new path will provide more than 0.7 miles of new terrain for bikes to cruise around Port Covington safely and quickly. The first, north-south leg of the trails feature a pilot trail of glow stones that collect sunlight during the day and provide light at night. The second phase will ultimately stretch from West Covington Park along Cromwell Street to East McComas Street near Key Highway. In addition to the 0.7 miles added by Phase II along Cromwell Street in Port Covington, construction near downtown Baltimore on an additional 2.2 miles of on-street cycle track between Madison and Centre street is expected to complete in July.
