Lardarius Webb’s MEN.FOK (Menfolk) Program Launches in Partnership with Sagamore Development and The Center for Urban Families

In 2010, Baltimore Ravens free safety Lardarius Webb created the Lardarius Webb Foundation with the mission of strengthening families in Baltimore and beyond. In the spirit of this mission, Lardarius partnered with Sagamore Development and the Center for Urban Families to launch MEN.FOK (Menfolk), a 12-month program offering guidance, mentorship and career-based coaching to men in Baltimore City. The selected mentors represent diverse industries, including community organizers, financial professionals, and educators. Each mentor will work with one or two individuals and commit to connecting with their mentees on a regular basis, offering guidance on how to personally improve at work and home.

Sagamore Development is pleased to announce that members of the Port Covington Manufacturing Bootcamp will also participate in MEN.FOK (Menfolk), providing them access to hands-on mentorship. Through this partnership, Boot Camp participants will now receive soft skill and career-readiness training from the Center for Urban Families; training in a broad range of manufacturing skillsets at The Foundery; and guided mentorship through Lardarius Webb’s MEN.FOK (Menfolk) program. Stay tuned for more stories from this exciting new partnership!
